+ Dans une interview publiée dans la revue « Look », sous le titre « The curious story behind the new Cary Grant » (1959), l’acteur raconta qu’il avait pris du LSD au cours d’un traitement analytique avec différents psychiatres. Plus de 60 fois.

+ Hitchcock finance les essais pour “Kaleidoscope“. Des Hippies seins nus autour d’une lame de couteau. Le projet est abandonné et l’on peut fantasmer sur les 5 photos et les 10 sec de rush.
Pour certains, le cinéma serait mort aux alentours de 1975. Une fin rock ‘n roll : étouffé dans son vomi.
Passé en de mauvaises mains, dénaturé, pillé, piétiné, réduit à tous ces riens qui inondent les écrans (grand râle !).
Quelques maîtres tenaces, une poignée de disciples, des cinéphiles isolés maintiennent la bête en vie : le secret, un truc comme une drogue sacrée.
Comme le nez au milieu de la figure, les relais attendent depuis des années. Ils flottent dans l’espace.

A few tenacious masters, a handful of disciples, some separated moviegoers are keeping the beast alive : the secret, a thingie like a holy drug. As plain as the nose in your face, the successors have been waiting for years. They’re floating in space.
